  • Cam’ron and Elliot Wilson sat down and had a conversation

Cam’ron came in hot, he had to get his get back. But after that, him and Elliot had a honest conversation moderated by Treasure Wilson.

Cam’ron and Elliot actually had fruitful conversation, even if the origins of this entire debate started in a malicious place with Elliot’s comments on the New Rory and Mal Podcast a few weeks ago. Today, they had a digital face to face conversation and got right to the meat of the controversy.

Elliot walked back some of his comments but more importantly he clarified his frustrations with the modern day media landscape. Acknowledging that he has to adapt and grow. Cam’ron expressed that he didn’t take often to being compared to Stephen A. Smith. Sounds like Cam’ron even took it as compliment. Cam’ron even went as far as to give Elliot some advice on what to do moving forward. It was some real man to man shit. Treasure Wilson did a great job and asked questions were on both side of the argument, Asking Cam: ‘If big artist need to sit with Journalist?’ and ‘Where does he think that journalist is going?’ So that everyone got put in the hot seat and asked the difficult questions.

A hot start but a great finish! A real man to man moment for that got shared with us.

  • Bad Bunny: The Rabbit Hole Behind the Pebble

DeBi TiRAR Mas FOTos has captured me in way that, I wasn’t expecting. Everyday I peel another layer and find a deeper meaning to the album. Hearing those horn on BAILE INoLVIDABLE… it’s a time machine that takes me to the beach in my mother hometown of Miche.

So I’ve been searching for more, the meaning behind the songs. I often find myself loving certain songs and not really understanding my attraction to it and in a weird way, with just a little effort, I find a deep rabbit hole behind a small pebble. Here’s what I’ve found so far:

Here are some screen captures from Bad Bunny’s Interview with Zane Lowe

This short film depicts an elder Puerto Rican who lives in modern day Puerto Rico, hinting subtly at what’s changed in Puerto Rico from when he was a young man. This couldn’t have come a better time given what happening in Puerto Rico.

Another familiar face joins Jimmy Fallon for the Tonight Show. Bad Bunny has stopped by the Tonight Show a few times before making this his 4th time. He and Jimmy Fallon seemingly have a great friendship. So much so that they even did a surprise pop-up show on the metro in NYC.

  • Cam’ron, Mase, and Stat are home from Vacation

Cam’ron, Mase, and Stat are home from Vacation

These last few weeks Cam and Mase have been on Vacation after ending season 5 of It Is What It Is, during which a few people have had a few things to say about Cam’ron. Specifically Elliot Wilson and Jim Jones. I wrote about the comments Elliot Wilson made, hating on Cam and Mase and their success in their new venture, It Is What It Is. Which Cam’ron responded to with a quick Instagram post.

Cam’ron Wrote: WE JUST CHILLING MINDING OUR BUSINESS SIPPING 🍾 & HERE COME THIS “CUBAN GOODING JR” LOOKING MUTHAFU*KA WITH HIS SALTY HATING AZZ, HEY YO @elliottwilson YOU WASHED & NOBODY IS CHECKING FOR YOU, #WETHENEWSOURCE GET USE TO IT 🤡 YOU A BONA FIED HATER

Seemingly there wasn’t much more to say after that as the majority of people(the internet) felt the Elliot was indeed hating.

Now Jim Jones and Cam’ron have had years of back and forth. It was recently reignited when a few weeks ago when Cam’ron interview 50 Cent and Cam’ron asked about some of the strategy he used during their beef. In which 50 Cent has Jim Jones perform his hit record Ballin’ at one of his shows. Years later 50 and Cam can laugh about the entire situation now being veterans in the industry. Seemingly the beef wasn’t anything serious that couldn’t been mended. But Jim Jones didn’t take to calmly to the interview responding to Cam’ron, “Get off my dick” in short.

So everyone has been at the edge of their seats waiting for the Season 6 return of It Is What It Is. Mase brought some popcorn, enjoy the show

  • Bad Bunny is Back!

    Bad Bunny is Back!

The album cover is everything. For anyone that’s from the Caribbean, they know what those white plastic chairs stand for. Chairs that are so strong and so fragile at the same time. Chairs that sit in the yard and under rain or sunshine, where elders hold court, where the family eats meals and tells jokes. It’s the same chairs I told my cousin to grab when I cut his hair out back, the same chair tio spent hours calling across the world to his family and friends. In those chairs we cry and we laugh, we debate and observe. After a long day or if there’s nothing to do. We sit in those chairs with a little bit of shade, shirts off, a little bit of rum and an opinion. It was the extra chair and main chair, the chair that moved in and out the house without hesitation or reservation. We may have paid for it but that was everyone’s chair, friend or foe, wanderer or lover. It’s a testimony and a monument.

  • Raekwon On Joe Rogan

    Raekwon On Joe Rogan

Raekwon the mutha fucking chef made a stop at the Joe Rogan Experience. I love when Joe has Doctors and people with degrees and what not, people that can educate us and share information. But ain’t nothing like Joe Rogan just having a conversation with no clear direction, just chatting. Raekwon came through and him and Joe just nerded out and just talked about hip-hop, hunting, the origins of the Wu-Tang Clan name. Joe even put Raekwon on to a hip-hop song he hadn’t heard before. This is one you can see that Joe is excited for. Just wait til Raekwon take off the shades. The comments were excited. Shit I was excited. I fucking great podcast to kick off the year!
